Next, show up 15 minutes prior to your exam appointment time. Fill out the necessary paperwork. Pay the one time fee. No hidden costs. Pay via cash, credit card or through your HSA account. Your imaging will take approximately 45 minutes.
Finally, get your report within 24 business hours of your imaging appointment time via email.
MRI is a modality of imaging that provides a large amount of information about a small area of the body. Because of this, the industry considers each of the following scans a separate exam and subsequent charge. Read below for more information regarding how the scans are divided. Please call us regarding information about scanning other body parts.
Imaging of the brain to evaluate for headaches, dizziness, pressure, sinus disease and other issues with the head. Includes skull, sinuses and orbits. This exam can be performed for $399 with a doctor's order.
Imaging of the neck verterbrae to look for causes of neck pain, as well as radiating shoulder and arm pain, numbness and tingling.
MRI of the thoracic spine to evaluate for midback pain. This exam includes the spine from the top of the shoulders to the bottom of the rib cage. It also includes some paraspinal muscles.
MRI of the low back to evaluate for disc disease, bulging or herniation that can cause gluteal pain and leg pain. This exam typically covers from the bottom of the rib cage to the SI joint connection.
MRI of the knee to evaluate for knee pain in a single knee. Looks at the tendons, meniscus and ligaments of the knee. The bones and muscles will also be evaluated.
This will evaluate the joint, rotator cuff tendons, labrum and cartilage of a single shoulder. The bursa and surrounding muscles will also be evaluated.
This will evaluate the bones, ligaments, joints and surrounding muscles and tendons specific to the palm and fingers.
This will evaluate the bones, ligaments, joints and surrounding muscles and tendons.
This will evaluate the tendons, ligaments, bones and cartilage of the ankle. Will evaluate the achilles tendon and plantar fascia.
This will evaluate the bones, ligaments, cartilage and surrounding muscles and tendons. Attention is made to the symptomatic hip.
This will evaluate the tendons, ligaments, bones and cartilage of the foot. Can focus on the mid part of the foot or toes.
Evaluate the soft tissues of the pelvis, including uterus and ovaries in a woman as well as the bladder. Limited evaluation of the prostate in males due to lack of contrast.
This will evaluate the solid organs of the abdomen including the liver, spleen, kidneys, adrenals, pancreas and gallbladder. Limited evaluation of the stomach and bowel.
Evaluate for tears and ruptures of the breast implants. This will NOT adequately evaluate the breast tissue for cancer or screening purposes.
This consists of limited scans of the head, neck, chest, abdomen and pelvis to evaluate for early cancer. Breast and prostate cancer require contrast and are not evaluated on this exam.
This will evaluate the Sacroiliac joints as well as the bones of the sacrum. Limited views of the pelvis also included.
